Lobim me aeroplan!
Perderisa perfaqesuesit politike kosovare jane futur ne "gare" per sigurimin e njohjeve te pavaresise, duke u takuar me diplomate te ndryshem, Xhejms Berisha eshte piloti qe ka nje ide krejt tjeter. Ai do te fluturoje mbi 30 shtete te kontinentit amerikan, per te kerkuar njohje nga aeroplani
Xhejms Berisha, nje shqiptar nga Brestovci, por qe jeton ne Teksas te SHBA-se, do te beje lobimin me te vecante per te kerkuar njohjen e pavaresise nga shtete qe ende nuk e kane bere nje gje te tille. 37-vjecari, i cili jeton ne SHBA, eshte pilot profesional. Ai ka vendosur qe me aeroplanin e tij njemotorik te fluturoje mbi 30 shtete te kontinentit amerikan, per te promovuar njohjen e pavaresise dhe per t`i falenderuar vendet qe tashme e kane njohur shtetin me te ri ne Evrope. "Dua t`i falenderoj te gjitha shtetet qe tashme na kane njohur", ka thene Berisha, duke shtuar se deshiron qe t`iu thyen stereotipat qe njerezit ende krijojne per vende te caktuara. Xhejms Berisha planifikon qe fluturimi i tij te filloje nga El Paso, Teksas, keto dite, duke fluturuar mbi 30 shtete te Amerikes. "Faleminderit qe njohet Kosoven" dhe "Kosova kerkon njohjen tuaj" jane sloganet qe do ta percjellin Berishen ne fushaten e tij lobuese. Per udhetimin e tij dy-tri javesh, Berisha nuk ka siguruar asnje donacion. E gjithe fushata eshte e paguar nga xhepi i tij.Ambasadori jozyrtar i Kosoves do te perfundoje fluturimin e tij, duke aterruar ne Florida te SHBA-se. Piloti u ka deklaruar mediave amerikane se pas fluturimit planifikon qe te kthehet dhe te jetoje ne Kosove, ku edhe pret te hape nje shkolle te pilotimit. Qe nga shpallja e pavaresise se Kosoves, me 17 shkurt 2008, vendin tone e kane njohur rreth 55 shtete te ndryshme anembane botes. Perfaqesues te partive politike, ata te shoqerise civile dhe natyrisht perfaqesuesit institucionale te Kosoves bejne perpjekje te vazhdueshme me qellim te lobimit per njohjen e pavaresise. Perderisa koheve te fundit ne Prishtine ka pasur edhe "gare" mes perfaqesuesve te ndryshem politike, per ate se kush ka sjelle njohje te caktuara, Xhejms Berisha do te beje lobimin me te vecante. Kosovo Pilot Starts Fly-In Recognition Drive
A Kosovo-born pilot will next month start a fly-in campaign across the Americas to persuade governments to recognise Kosovo, which this week celebrated one year since its declaration of independence from Serbia
Texas resident James Berisha, 37, will begin his Flying For Kosovo (www.flyingforkosovo.com ) campaign in March and has planned to fly his single engine plane to more than 30 countries in South and Central America, a region which has mostly ignored the Kosovo issue.
“I will thank those countries who have already recognized us, I will tell the others how important it is for Kosovo to be recognized worldwide, and I will try to end racial stereotypes that belittle our people”, Berisha told Balkan Insight.
Berisha spent his childhood in Kosovo, then left for Western Europe to fulfil his dream of becoming a pilot. He is now working for Sierra West Airlines, which operates executive jet charters and air cargo flights.
Since its declaration of independence, Kosovo has been recognized by 55 mostly Western states. /balkaninsight.com/19.02.09/
